Napa County
Founded in the 1840s, the Napa River bisected the town and the city of Napa became a trade and transportation hub. Wealthy ship captains, bankers, and tannery owners built Victorian mansions downtown, and many have been restored as small inns. Now as you look up and down the valley there are beautiful vineyards that line highway 29, world renowned wineries, and delicious eateries. Each city within the county has it’s own points of rich history and community over the years creating a home for many. Within Napa County there are 9 cities: American Canyon, Napa, Yountville, Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Calistoga, Angwin, and Pope Valley. As experiences are best shared and discovered together are some of the best things in life, this is the same sentiment when living in the Napa Valley!
